Andrew Leverman (Associate)

Andrew Leverman is an experienced professional with over 20 years in the field of adult education. He has extensive practical experience as a program and curriculum developer, instructor, workshop facilitator, and text developer with a variety of institutions and community organizations with a particular focus in the field of Adult Education and Lifelong Learning. He is also an experienced researcher and writer.

His graduate research focused on adult learning capacities with a particular interest in adult learning models and cultural processes in a globalized economy. In addition to the education sector he also has experience in the financial services sector. For Collective Wisdom Solutions he recently participated in the Bridging Project – Adult Education and Skills Development, a research project for the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Workforce Development in partnership with the Association of Workplace Educators of Nova Scotia, and a research project for the Halifax Prior Learning Assessment Centre. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (double concentration in Finance/Accounting, minor in Economics) from Dalhousie University, NS, a Master of Arts in Education (Adult Education/Studies in Lifelong Learning) from Mount Saint Vincent University, NS, and a Graduate Diploma in Teaching English as a Second Language from Humber Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, ON.
